We're thankful to hear Pauline is on board a return flight from Afghanistan after spending 8 days on the ground with our Australian troops.While the Government of the day have the unilateral power to send our troops to war, all elected Members of Parliament have a responsibility to know what we're sending our soldiers into.One Nation has always supported our Australian troops, so it was important we knew exactly what they go through.If you're not prepared to go there yourself, why in gods name would you send others?Pauline wasn't alone on this trip. She was joined by NSW One Nation Senate colleague Brian Burston and Labor Senator Kimberley Kitching.We're 5 days away from ANZAC Day and we're pleased Pauline's been given this opportunity to visit our troops on the ground in an active combat zone.To everyone in Australia's Defence Force, thank you for having Pauline.
