After the tragic death of a family in the Margaret River after the grandfather took the lives of his wife, daughter and four grandkids, debate has come up again about our gun laws.Australia's gun licensing laws are some of the toughest in the world and this tragedy should not be used by people to say we need to further strip the rights of legal gun owners.We see more people murdered with knives and baseball bats than licensed gun owners in this country.No one can take away the tragedy of this event and there's certainly a lot of questions that need answering. Australia’s gun licensing laws are some of the toughest in the world and this tragedy should not be used by people to say we need to further strip the rights of legal gun owners.
We see more people murdered with knives and baseball bats than licensed gun owners in this country.
No one can take away the tragedy of this event and there’s certainly a lot of questions that need answering. Until then, let’s not think taking people’s guns away is the only answer to preventing this type of event.
